Client: The Virginia Railway Express (VRE)
ATCS is providing professional services to VRE for the development of NEPA documentation, environmental studies, and technical reports. This includes wetland and stream delineation and avoidance/minimization efforts, threatened and endangered species coordination, cultural resources coordination, air and noise documentation, socioeconomic analysis, hazardous materials inventories, and indirect and cumulative effects analysis on behalf of FTA. ATCS will also be providing survey services, cost estimation, and schedule development for the redevelopment of the Crystal City VRE Station in Alexandria, Virginia. The improvements include station improvements, a walkway between the existing development and the station, and a pedestrian connection to existing trails in the vicinity.
