Kwaku Asiedu Joins ATCS as Water Resources Engineering Manager

HERNDON, Va. – Kwaku Asiedu, PE, CFM, joins ATCS as water resources engineering manager, bringing over 12 years of experience working with public and private firms. In his role, he will lead drainage, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management engineering for transportation projects. His responsibilities also include offering technical guidance for project development, building team expertise, and supporting business development.

Asiedu joins ATCS with experience as a water resources project manager and lead designer for various transportation projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. He also managed FEMA floodplain studies and alterations resulting in map changes.

Asiedu is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers Bull Run Chapter, the Virginia Lakes and Watershed Association (VLWA), and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a master’s degree in civil engineering from George Mason University.
