Brian Post Appointed as National Director of ASHE
HERNDON, VA – ATCS proudly announces the appointment of Brian Post, PE, as National Director of the American Society for Highway Engineers (ASHE), representing the Mid-Atlantic Region. Post’s term, spanning from 2024 to 2027, began with his installation at the 2024 ASHE National Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina, held from June 5-9.
ASHE’s mission is to provide a forum for members and partners of the highway industry to promote a safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation system through education, innovation, and fellowship. With a national board of directors, ASHE has over 7,300 members across more than 48 sections in eight regions of the U.S.
As Vice President and Baltimore Operations Manager, Post brings over 25 years of experience in civil and highway design, traffic design, and construction management to his role at ATCS. His leadership continues to enhance our projects and operations in Baltimore, Maryland, and the surrounding region.
A North Dakota State University alum, Post is a licensed professional engineer in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia. Prior to his national role, he served as president of the Mid-Atlantic Region and remains an active member and past president of the Chesapeake Section. Brian is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers Maryland Section (ASCE MD) and serves on the American Council of Engineering Companies/Maryland (ACEC/MD) committees.
