ATCS provided survey layout and BIM modeling for the Mills Building, located in the District of Columbia. Construction work for the existing nine-story building including a 200,000 square foot expansion retrofit and renovation. Working directly with Whiting-Turner, ATCS

  • Established highly accurate layout control throughout the building
  • Performed the layout of stairwells and elevator shafts from lower level 3 to upper level 12
  • Provided scan services of existing interior structural components
  • Located the existing lower level 3 cutouts for the new stairwells and elevator shafts, then recreated the layout of the “templates” on the floors above while avoiding critical structural components
  • Provided layout for the tower crane
  • Provided property line layout both inside and outside the building
