This new animal services facility is a 21,450 square feet and has kennels, indoor and outdoor spaces, a veterinary clinic, a multi-purpose room, and a split lobby for adoptions and surrenders. It is the first public animal shelter in the United States to meet 100% of the animal shelter guidelines established by the Association of Shelter Veterinarians.

ATCS was brought on the project after the schedule had slipped significantly. Tasked with bringing the schedule on track, our team was able to protect the County from additional time extensions, change orders and cost impacts. ATCS was instrumental in resolving various time extension requests on the project in the County’s favor.

Our team also provided an independent analysis of potential change orders due to plan conflicts on several occasions. Change orders were reviewed, manpower was evaluated, and a material and equipment cost analysis was performed. ATCS also reviewed the time impact analysis submitted as part of this PCO.

ATCS has proven success in negotiating potential claims and change orders to the benefit of the County. Our experience, skill, and attention to detail have been vital in protecting the County’s interests.
