The ATCS team is currently providing comprehensive construction inspection services for the replacement of the I-81 NB Bridge over the New River and the Route 232 Bridge over I-81 at the Exit 105 Interchange. The project also includes improvements on the I-81 NB on and off ramps, along with drainage and stormwater management improvements along I-81 and at mile 108 rest area. We were able to manage multiple construction elements by assigning appropriate staff, managing traffic control, and communicating effectively with the public and stakeholders. As the lead firm, ATCS is responsible for project staffing, performing quality assurance inspection of all elements of work, safety, local government outreach and coordination, and the VDOT Salem District. We are also responsible for communications related to traffic management and maintenance of traffic as well as impacts and updates to the travelling public.
