ATCS Expands Service Offerings with Structural and Bridge Engineering Expertise in Pennsylvania

HERNDON, Va. – ATCS announced today the expansion of its service offerings in Pennsylvania with the introduction of Marty Malone, Husam Obeid, PE, CBSI, and Aaron Craig, PE, CBSI, who form its new Bridge Engineering team. This strategic move underscores ATCS’ commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions that meet the region’s evolving needs.

The newly established Bridge Engineering team will provide expertise in the design, rehabilitation, and construction supervision of bridges and other highway-related structures. With a focus on long-term sustainability, the team will deliver high-quality projects that enhance connectivity and ensure the safety and durability of vital transportation infrastructure.

Marty Malone serves as Associate Vice President, Client Services. In this position, he will lead ATCS’ business development efforts in Pennsylvania. With an extensive background in client relations, he will work closely with current and prospective clients to identify teaming opportunities and expand ATCS’ structural and bridge service offerings.

Husam Obeid is the newly appointed Associate Vice President, Structural Engineering (Bridges). In this role, Husam will lead the design and rehabilitation of bridges and highway-related structures. With 34 years of experience performing structural design services, his extensive background includes working on multi-span steel and prestressed and reinforced concrete bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and drainage structures. Husam’s focus on minimizing environmental impacts aligns with ATCS’ commitment to sustainable infrastructure. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Aaron Craig takes on the position of Director of Structural Engineering (Bridges). In this position, he will be pivotal in identifying and pursuing bridge-related design contracts, strengthening and building relationships with bridge owners and builders, and executing the design and delivery of outstanding bridge projects for ATCS’ clients and communities. Aaron has 22 years of structural and bridge engineering expertise, serving public, private, and institutional clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Grove City College.
