Victoria Ballestero receives a gubernatorial appointment to the Maryland State Board of Architectural Review
HERNDON, VA – ATCS’ Vice President and Largo Operations Manager, Victoria Ballestero, PE, MBA, ENV SP, was recently recognized by Governor Wes Moore with a gubernatorial appointment to the Maryland State Board of Architectural Review- part of the Maryland Department of General Services.
Victoria took an oath of office at the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County for her four-year term of public service on the Board. The State Board of Architectural Review is constituted of seven members appointed by the Governor with Senate consent. The Board is responsible for reviewing architectural designs and drawings for new State buildings or for the reconstruction or repair of existing ones. In this role, Victoria will be responsible for making recommendations to improve the functionality of facilities.

Victoria is a national-award winning Professional Engineer with a decade of experience in Maryland, Virginia, and DC land development engineering. In her role at ATCS, Victoria launched the firm’s Prince George’s County office and leads a team of professional engineers and land surveyors in delivering innovative site civil engineering solutions for private-sector clients. In addition to her role at ATCS, Victoria serves as Past President of the Maryland Society of Professional Engineers, Vice Chair for the Maryland Building Industry Association Prince George’s County Chapter, and a Board Member for the Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Council at her alma mater Clarkson University, among other industry roles.
