ATCS is pleased to announce the promotion of Nathan Umberger to Virginia Director of Traffic Engineering & Transportation Planning Services.
In his new role, Nathan will support and oversee ATCS’ Virginia traffic engineering and transportation planning services’ strategy, client relationships, pursuits, teaming relationships, and innovation. He will work to enhance the services processes and procedures and maximize growth opportunities in Virginia.

Nathan joined ATCS in June of 2019 with 14 years of experience in Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning and has helped lead the Herndon Office for the past 3+ years. Before joining ATCS, Nathan spent more than 9 years with VDOT and 5 years with SCDOT.
