Founder and former ATCS President inducted into the Virginia Tech Civil and Environmental Engineering Academy of Distinguished Alumni
Bill Caruthers and Young Ho Chang
Founder and former ATCS President, William (“Bill”) Caruthers, was inducted into the Virginia Tech Civil and Environmental Engineering Academy of Distinguished Alumni on April 21, 2016. The Eighteenth Annual Charles E. Via, Jr. Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) honored Outstanding Young and Distinguished Alumni who are selected based on a review of their overall career accomplishments and contributions to the profession, their community and service to Virginia Tech. Candidates for these awards come from nominations submitted directly to the CEE department by Alumni.
Current ATCS President, Young Ho Chang, P.E., participated in the banquet to introduce Bill and opened the banquet as the Chair of the Virginia Tech CEE Alumni Board.
