It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts, we share the news of the unexpected passing of our colleague and leader, John H. Morse.

John was an ATCS owner who successfully led several large P3/design-build projects along major interstate corridors, including I-495 and I-95. He was currently serving as the lead consultant for the VDOT $3B Transform 66 corridor program in northern Virginia and a key consultant for MD P3 Traffic Relief Program for Maryland SHA.

In addition to leading the Program and Project Management business line, he also served as ATCS’ Company Safety Officer developing, implementing, and managing company safety policies, education and training, and compliance measures.

John’s drive and passion for the industry positioned him for leadership roles in various organizations, including CMAA National Capital Chapter’s President in 2020.

He was a courageous leader who cared deeply for those around him. We are incredibly fortunate to have known John and how he has added so much to what we are about at ATCS. His legacy and impact will be felt for a long time.

We ask for thoughts and prayers for his wife Kathy and their six children.
