Victoria Ballestero recognized as a leader by the National Society of Professional Engineers
Please join us in congratulating Victoria Ballestero, PE, MBA for being recognized as a woman leader in Engineering by the National Society of Professional Engineers for her role in the Maryland Society of Professional Engineers (MDSPE).
“I have served on the MDSPE Executive Board for the past seven years in various capacities, including as the Secretary and President Elect. In June 2021, I will take on the role of President of the organization. MDSPE is responsible for lobbying on behalf of the profession, providing annual continuing education, and creating a network of multi-disciplinary professionals across the state. As President of MDSPE, as well as in my role at ATCS, I look forward to championing initiatives that promote the high standards of care required of Professional Engineers, increase diversity and inclusion, and grow the pipeline of Professional Engineers.” says Victoria.
Victoria’s site civil engineering experience in the Maryland and DC-Metro region includes a vast array of residential, mixed-use, industrial, and commercial projects. As the Operations Manager of ATCS’ Largo, MD office, Victoria leads a group of land development engineering and surveying experts to provide innovative solutions for the emerging needs of clients in Prince George’s County and the Maryland metropolitan area.
Throughout her career, Victoria has served in numerous leadership positions for professional associations. She is the Vice President of Associates on the Executive Committee for the Maryland Building Industry Association, a Board Member for the Foundation for Applied Construction Technology for Students, and a Councilmember on the Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Council for her alma mater, Clarkson University. Outside of her professional commitments, Victoria is an avid traveler and outdoor sports enthusiast including ice climbing and backpacking.
