ATCS Welcomes Karuna Pujara

ATCS is excited to welcome Karuna Pujara as Vice President of our Water Resources Discipline! Karuna will lead the company’s business development activities while further strengthening the technical abilities of our workforce in our ATCS geographies.

Most importantly though, Karuna possesses leadership qualities that align with our ATCS culture and in turn will help us thrive as an organization.”

Prior to joining ATCS, Karuna served the Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration for nearly 30 years. Her technical, managerial, and leadership skills are broad and deep having served in the following capacities:  Deputy Director of Office of Highway Development, Deputy Director of Office of Planning and Preliminary Engineering, Deputy Director of Materials Engineering, Plan Review Division Chief, Highway Hydraulics Division Chief, and Project Manager, Team Leader, and Design Engineer, Highway Hydraulics Division.

Karuna is a licensed Professional Engineer in Maryland and holds a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya in Gujarat, India, and a master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
